SECURE Meeting during the ESC Congress 2018
The SECURE consortium has the pleasure to invite you to attend our General meeting that will be held on Monday 27th August 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the framework of the Congress of the European Society of Cardiology taking place in Munich. A Congress badge will be required to get access to the SECURE meeting.
You are also invited to the dinner hosted by Ferrer on Sunday 26th August evening at the restaurant Augustiner Schützengarten, Zielstattstraße 6, 81379 München.
Shuttles will leave at 17:30 from the Congress to go to the restaurant and after the dinner they will go to the Hauptbahnhof (central train station) close to the city centre.

Venue – how to get there
From the airport (also known as Franz-Josef-Strauß airport)

ESC shuttle buses will run between Munich airport and the Congress venue. Shuttle Bus Stops at Munich Airport: 3 Shuttle bus stops are located directly in front of the areas A and Z (the central area) in Terminal 1, and in front of Terminal 2. Shuttle Bus Stop at the congress venue (Messe München): in front of the West Entrance. Journey fare: €9 one way, €15 round trip (approx 45 minutes) |
The airport has a suburban train station (S-Bahn) on the lower level. A train departs every 10 minutes. Change to the metro line (U-Bahn) and stop at "Messestadt West" to get to the venue. Here are the three recommended airport to venue connections: S8 > U5 > U2 (45 mn, 2 connections)
S8 > U2 (60 mn, 1 connection)
S1 > U2 (60 mn, 1 connection)
Journey fare: unlimited day pass €13 (including a trip from or to airport - regular rate): During peak travel times on weekdays, the U2 runs every 5 minutes: 15:10 - 18:55 from and to "Messestadt West", the Congress venue’s station.

The U2 metro line (U-Bahn) will take you from the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to the Congress venue station (Messestadt West). The U2 runs from 04:00 AM to 01:00 AM. During peak travel times on weekdays, every 5 minutes between 07:30 AM - 10:10 AM Travel time: approx. 18 minutes |
