EFRIM is a European initiative to articulate the needs of the first responders in Europe, share knowledge amongst first responders, initiate (European) innovation projects and voice the needs of the Police, Fire Service and Paramedics to the (European) government. EFRIM is run by first responders for first responders and we strive to improve safety and security in Europe.

The relevence for Darenet is the focus on interoperability and multi agency training.

                                    Introduction

                                    Presentations interoperability:

  • Frank Breed of the Dutch National Police will share his experiences of project “Uranus” about multi-disciplinary training.
  • Jean Paul Monet of the French Fire Fighters will also present the interoperability tool they have developed and tested on an international basis.
  • Belgian presentation of the EU project : “Bullseye”
    Recognising that first responders across the EU countries use different procedures, the main aim of Project Bullseye is to work towards the harmonization of those different procedures.
